ComfyUI, from anywhereRun workflows on your home GPU from a laptop anywhere.
You'll need
Everything happens in your browser except step 1.
Run this on the machine where ComfyUI runs. The container connects out to Seawise.io, so you don't open any ports on your router.
On Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows, replace --network host with -p 8082:8082.
$ docker run -d --name seawise \ --restart unless-stopped \ --network host \ -v seawise-data:/config \ ghcr.io/seawise-io/seawise-client:latest
✓ Container started
On a computer at home, open http://your-server-ip:8082 and create a password for the container's page.
Give the server a name, click Connect, and approve it in the seawise.io tab that opens. Sign up for free there if you haven't yet.
Fill in the name, the address and the port ComfyUI uses (8188 by default), then click Add.
--network host, use localhost. On Docker Desktop, use host.docker.internal. If ComfyUI runs on another machine, use its local IP, like 192.168.1.20.ComfyUI now shows on your Servers page at seawise.io. Click it from any browser, on any network, and you're in.
Go to Portals, create one (say, Family), and add ComfyUI to it. Then open its sharing settings and add the email of everyone who should get in.
Skip this step if ComfyUI is just for you.
Send them the portal link. They sign in with the email you added, using Google, GitHub or an email link, and tap ComfyUI. Nothing to install, on any phone, tablet or laptop.
01
ComfyUI listens on 127.0.0.1 by default. That's fine when Seawise.io runs on the same machine with host networking; if it's on another machine or in a container, start ComfyUI with --listen.
02
Uploads are capped at 100 MB by default. Start ComfyUI with --max-upload-size and a bigger number in MB if you load large images or videos from the browser.
03
--multi-user gives each user their own storage for workflows and settings. It's not a login, so it doesn't replace Seawise.io's sign-in.
Run curl http://localhost:8188 on the Seawise.io server. If ComfyUI is on your GPU box instead, add it by that machine's LAN IP and make sure it was started with --listen.
The file is probably over ComfyUI's 100 MB default. Restart with a larger --max-upload-size.
Install via Git URL and pip install stay blocked unless allow_git_url_install or allow_pip_install is true in ComfyUI-Manager's config.ini. Even then they only work while ComfyUI listens on a loopback address like 127.0.0.1, so stick to nodes from the default channel when you use --listen.
ComfyUI has no login of its own, so anyone who reaches it can queue jobs on your GPU. Share it only through a portal, never as a public app.
Every image or video you view or download in the browser counts toward your monthly bandwidth, and so do the files you upload.
